A TikTok Documentary
In the spring of 2022, my mom went from perfectly healthy to legally blind in 2 weeks. As a content creator herself, she managed to capture content throughout her journey until she was finally diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Working as my mom’s eyes and social media partner, I edited and assisted in crafting a 7 minute TikTok documentary that she posted and quickly went viral with over a quarter million views. Check it out here!
Building a Food Community
In 2021, I challenged myself to build a TikTok page dedicated to sharing my love of baked goods and dessert with the world. As a social media strategist, I crafted my own strategy that helped me amass 20k followers in less than 3 months and millions of views.
The foundation of my strategy was to produce consistent, high-quality content that drove engagement and connection. As a result, I created a community of foodies around my brand, TrulyJuli, and leveraged this account to work with brands like DoorDash, Boar’s Head, Miami Food and Wine Fest, and more!

Inspired by my challenge in 2021 to build a community around food and social media content, I’m putting myself to the test yet again!
As I pursue stand up comedy, I have created a goal to build a social media following that is centered around my journey and sharing the funny moments from the stage. I want to make content that brings a smile to people’s faces, while also continuing to use my strategies in an evolving social media landscape. Since starting this, I’ve had multiple viral videos with millions of views and am building a loyal fan base.
